I think he’s the best of the realistic candidates left. As much as I’d love to get Riley, don’t think it’s gonna happen. Give me Kiffin and a badass defensive coordinator, and let’s ride

If you look at it objectively, Ole Miss is a better program than LSU. You can win big and quickly in Oxford, Mississippi. Being only year two, Lane has proven this.

You won’t get a badass d coordinator, you’ll get kiffy and a meh d coordinator and lose 3-4 games every year. Saban will have the Kiffin game circled and be twice as obsessed as he already is with beating LSU. Do not want Kiffin.

He hasn’t been at a program longer than 3 years for the duration of his near two decade coaching career. A Heisman winner and NY6 bowl in only year two, the best quarterback in the nation soon to enroll at OM - he’s not going anywhere. He’ll ink for 6mm this off-season and the train will continue onwards.

We can’t base this hire on anything to do with Saban. He won’t be there forever, and Kiffin is a young dude. He’s yet to reach his full potential as a head coach.
