For a guy that's been a dc only 2 years?? 1 of which was good the other being below average.

I get that auburn doesn't mind paying coaches not to coach, but he aint worth that.

worth is relevant to what you have. We don't mind paying him that much so why does it matter?

Give him $850k, and call it a day. Nice solid raise, and he gets to come home. Couple good years and he'll be at a million and a half.

Just find it crazy that auburn sees him as the fix.

I understand having to overpay to an extent given the circumstance auburn's program finds itself in.

If he stays fine, if auburn offers a crazy amount he should take it.

He seems like a solid coach, but not one I think of as elite. He's had a lot of talent to work with.

Well now it looks like FSU may match AU's offer...so FSU winds up paying the $1 million instead
