i wouldn't mind if crowton stayed, our offenive line sucks this year which is part of the reason for the offense being so bad.

but Flynn is a NFL QB and these two QB's obv aren't. There's a clear decline in talent there. If Kragthorpe gets a pass, doesn't Crowton?

O-Line is very talented, just poorly coached. Stud seems to think O-Line is all about power. They have ZERO technique, and get beat on the first move by the D-Line. They look like superstars when they are facing bull rush-types.

Matt was the same in 07 as he was in 05. JJ has alot of room to grow and improve.
I have a feeling that by the time he leaves, Jefferson will be considered one of the top-5 QB's all-time.

Stronger arm + long release = negligible. That effectively takes away the utility of the deeper routes that open up when a QB has a stronger arm. He also seems less accurate than Flynn on long throws, but I'd have to rewatch a lot of the 07 season to be sure. I recall some bad INT's that Flynn underthrew.
His completion percentage is higher but on almost 90 less attempts. I did not expect his YPA to be higher than Flynn's was in 07, but it is.

JJ has had a much, much better year than most give him credit for.
He's not blowing anything out of the water, but as a first year starter he's been entirely efficient and pretty damn effective sans the FLorida game.
