That could be it. He wants to prove himself to be able to be first in line for blue blood HC jobs and easier to prove yourself at ND than in the SEC West. His stock is already high and he’d definitely have more to risk coming to LSU

I actually think ND is the safer job for him. Closer to home and BK won’t be on the hot seat next year if he has a bad season. O might be gone if we tank next yr, and sanctions are part of the equation as well.
