Franklin seems to be Woodward’s guy, a good fit at LSU

CBS sports guys and TL hinting at the same candidate, Franklin. I like Aranda, but Franklin seems like a good fit too. Penn State is competing well in their conference and his teams seem prepared to start their season.

Franklin is one of the coaches that I'm not crazy about, which means he's probably the best of the bunch 
He's solid and his teams are always balanced, but I've never liked what they do on offense, and their recruiting leaves a lot to be desired. I understand that it's not the easiest place to recruit, but if that's the case then why aren't you doing anything to get innovative with the offense to score some points? I also think his time at Vanderbilt is overblown, beating a 4-8 Muschamp Florida team and an 8-5 Georgia team in 2013 don't wow me. Don't know if he's necessarily a championship caliber coach.
That being said, they are usually a very solid, fundamental team who do the usual run the ball and play physical defense thing in the Big 10. He could probably do well at LSU, just not crazy about him.

So you're basing this on TBLs thread? Because of the "hints" that people claimed he was giving out? I wouldn't be mad about Franklin, but I doubt that's their top choice this early on. No way.

Franklin’s people are reaching out to everyone to and connecting his name to this so he can get more money from PSU

I think Franklin would do well at LSU. I'd much rather him than Tucker.
