If they are turning down LSU in Dec, then I would worry, till then it's just coach speak.

It's week five of football season. I don't know that I'd want a coach that is looking for another job in week five. I don't believe anybody's gonna be interested in the middle of their season.

Brian Kelly

I think he was on our radar years ago after Miles flirted with Michigan but outside of 2012 what has he done?

I think he's a good coach. He didn't just suddenly forget football. He's not been a total failure at ND either. It's clear that winning at ND isn't easy.

Coaches aren't going to say anything right now during the season

No coach is going to say they have interest in the job. Articles about this subject written this early in the process should be considered clickbait and nothing else.

its looking less and less likely that the Big 12 will expand, and i seriously doubt Herman dreams of staying in the AAC. he does not seem like a guy content to play 1 or 2 front-page headline games a year when he could play 5 or 6 at LSU.

does he want to stand in front of 40,000 and beat UConn, or 100,000 and beat saban?

if its the second one, all he has to do is get in his car and drive right for 4 hours.

It's literally been less than a week, going into the 5th week of the season. You're a fricking idiot.

Nick saban and urban Meyer will never say yes, and I don't expect them to.

Really ?? Check ND pre Kelly and he's done that with a lot less talent. Geography and academics make it very tough for him to fill his roster with talent like Lsu has. With Aranda as his DC. Hell ya it's a good hire. Imo he's the first choice if jimbo and Herman don't come here

I don't believe Kelly would be a good fit in South Louisiana anyway. He seems to be sorta cold and smug. Just my gut feeling.

If this is true, why in the world would
we be contacting Meyer and Saban now?

Crazy.

And, why did we fire Miles and not have our man already on the hook?
