That would be a horrible career move. It would be a down grade from where he is now .

People love saying this crap, and I get it. But he'd be doubling his salary from 1.3 mil. that's a significant difference when you're making that "little. Maybe this makes Clemson bring him up to 1.8 or so and that's make the difference bearable to make the move to a worse situation

Some things aren't about money.
Clemson probably won't need to go to $2.5 to keep him, although they may be willing to with what he has done for that program.

He mentioned in an interview in LIttle Rock yesterday how he is big on loyalty and honesty. Clemson better be prepared to get off that one year at a time contract. After Bob screwed him over at OU, and not being able to get a long term contract at Clemson, 2.5 and multiple years may look like stability.

everyone is different and have different motivations. nw Arkansas is beautiful and seems to be a great place to live. great place to raise a family. and if he is successful in the sec it is a definite launch for a HC position. also, there's the money. also, maybe there is a disconnect with him and bado. one just doesn't know.
I suspect that arky has allocated more money for asst coaches. it's the norm in the sec now. les miles started that with ridiculous salaries for his oc and dc.
