I was just listening to a show on Foxsports that said Phillips would be in trouble if the Cowboys don't go far in the playoffs. Wasn't Jones interested in Miles? Now, understand I don't want this to happen but I was wondering if anyone else heard anything? By the way, look at my past posts and you will see I am a Miles fan. So, when I say I don't want this... I really mean it!

Look at what Jones has hired in the past:

Switzer, Campo, Gailey, Phillips.

I'd say Miles fits right in.

Wade has screwed up every team he's coached. He's so bad he couldn't win with John Elway. He's a white ray rhodes.

At the risk of making you sound like an idiot, I will remind you that Dallas' next head coach is already employed there.

Miles was a TE coach for the Cowboys in the late 90's. Jerry Jones did bring his name up as a potential future head coach a few years ago in a radio interview.

It won't happen but this is where that is coming from

Miles loves the college game. He loves being a part of these kids' lives. He had his time in the NFL and he's not jumping back.

The Yankee Curley stock is going South fast after the debacle that happened this year due to his poor decision making, (The Mallveto Co DC debacle) combined with some very weak assistant coaching performances.(McCarthy and Lane) Everybody around S.E.C. country is laughing at us, with a lot of "We told you so's." (Even though deep down a lot of realistic LSU fans/alumni feared this was going to happen as well) He'll never see the NFL as a head coach, but maybe as an OL coach. Miles will have 2009 to turn this thing around fast or he might get that opportunity in 2010. LSU Higher Up's, Fans and Alumni will not put up with another season like this one again. He'll be gone if this shite happens again next year and don't any of you cheerleaders think it wont. He'll get the chance to turn it around in 09 or it'll be a swift Adios Amigo. Thoughts of LM as an NFL Head Coach = .......

Jason Garrett has been the coach in waiting there since he was Troy Aikman's back up.

The Denver firing had ZERO to do with Wade doing a bad job. Turns out he was only hired as a caretaker in the first place. When Shanahan decided he was ready to be the Head man in Denver, Wade was dumped to make room for the man the owner really wanted all the time. There were other problems in Bufallo, but I seem to recall they were a playoff at least part of the time Wade was there. The situation in Dallas...similar toi Denver...Jones wants Jason Garrett to be Head Coach. Garrett isn't ready, so Wade is brought in. The only differenc this time is that Wade probably knows that's what's going on this time.

At the risk of sounding like a bigger idiot I will say that this probably means nothing to Jerry Jones. Does he fire Wade and promote Garrett after the season? probably. But Jones does what he wants to do, period.

Jones may be getting senile but he isn't in Davis' class yet.

Raiders maybe but not the Cowboys.
