The premium stuff is like plagiarism, cannot copy it directly, but u can tell us in your own words what the said article states.

I do think it's better that they keep certain rumors hush hush or else they won't reveal anything.

I can see it now:

Billy Gonzalez as your QB coach (even though he has never been one)

Setting up perfectly:

Greg Studrawa as your OC/O-line coach!!!

Guys have to be OC for the first time somewhere, no reason it can't be at LSU if you ask me.

Well, looking at the bright side, at least opposing defenses wouldn't know what's coming.

I'm not saying this is a good thing or bad thing, but if Gonzales is the hire, IMO Miles has taken complete control over the offense and is hiring someone that he can push around.

Well, where the hell else does he coach? That's the only viable option right now.

so if it stinks next year, blame it solely on miles.

Not saying that this would be a bad hire BUT (there's always a but)......

is LSU really a place to learn on the fly how to be a OC?

Ask me, it's a big step from WR coach to OC at a bigtime college program.

Either way, yes. Either A) he took over the offense and it sucked or B) he made a bad OC hire

Either way, it falls on Miles in 2010.

Personally, if it is in fact as OC, I think it is a terrible hire

I love guys like you. "oh no, we deserve the biggest, baddest name out there, and nothing else will do"

So great OC's are born OC's, and don't start as position coaches? How did the hiring of an experienced OC work out for us in our most recent hire?

If this is the case you think that Calhoun will see a more prominent role at RB in the mold of the fast elusive "scat" back type backs at Florida in Demps, and Rainey?

Missing out on Lache would be very bad as well.

Good news though is that LSU has Shep in that spread-running QB mold already.

oh i agree, but i'm not completely sold that miles would be doing this to have someone to push over.

IMO, if he's hiring a guy out of a florida spread, it's for a reason, a change of philosphy.

so basically, i can break down mike's war room but not copy paste it, just change a word here or there.
changing a word here or there is not the same as briefly summarizing or paraphrasing...but the intent is not to harm these sites, as there should be a relevant reason for posting about info from a site like that...eg, breaking news. but it seems silly to think that you can suppress news because the source is considered "premium".

and I think this would be this guy with all the keys to the offensive kingdom, Miles doesn't know how that offense works, he'll have to leave it up to Gonzalez
