I’m not even joking when I say finch has been so obsessed and desperate that I’m worried about his reaction when he finally realizes it isn’t Florida
There’s a healthy amount of being invested but the way this kid clings to some of the dumbest ‘info’ out there looking for one last glimmer of hope is extremely alarming

I’m pretty sure Finch is just trying to get reactions at this point. Or he’s just really that big of a Kiffin fan he’s trying to figure out some angle where it makes sense.
