I think Mullen could do very well at UF.

UF would win the off season hire award. Seems UT will drift further into the darkness.

Mullen is a good hire, objectively. Just feels established enough in his career that he has a ceiling of 10-11 wins. I know MSU and UF are completely different jobs, but I don't know if he can meet our recruiting needs or if he's truly cutthroat enough to compete against the swarm of poachers in state every year.

At this point i just want a HC. We swung for the fences and missed. Lets Go!

UF fans thinking this would be an underwhelming hire are just spoiled as frick.
he's what Franks needs to turn from shite to semi competent, and would probably be good for Jake Allen as well

I'd trade o for him in a second. He is going to thrash O even worse next year

Florida fan is really meh on this hire?

Nothing spoiled about wanting a Chip Kelly as a HC

Based off of what I see on the recruiting board, Mullen appears to be a competent to decent recruiter. He is getting some decent players at Miss St., I can't remember a time when they ever had as much talent as they have now. And their recruiting class this year is solid. Recruiting FLA is a different animal I guess but he could probably do okay.

Mullen is a good coach.
If he can get Mississippi State to #1, it's obvious he can do the same at Florida.
TBH, Merlins is who UF should have targeted from the beginning.

Mullen will drop msu and starkvegas like a bad habbit to go to florida. These dumbass state fans honestly believe mullen would stay in starkville if he's offered the florida job. Lol.

Sounds like the Gators are now grasping. Frost basically told them he is not interested.

yeah no
Mullen is still a great coach though. Would be a good hire.

Tom Osborne called him and told him that it's time to come home. There is not a helluva lot you can do about that

His lawyer is in Starkville negotiating the buyout right now. Announcement today.

He is a safe hire but not sure he has the up side to win a championship.
Posted on 11/26/17 at 12:33 pm to the paradigm
You were right about Frost. But you're still full of shite. The call from Tom Osborne came yesterday and sealed the deal.
Posted on 11/26/17 at 12:34 pm to GaryGator
Not true. That website reporting that crap is bogus. Their quotes are not even something Osborne would say. Osborne has spoken to Frost on more than one occasion and given him his blessing and told him he hopes he comes home, but that he would support him no matter what decision he made.
