It will be over at latest by Tuesday. He will either sign our extension or be a Nole.

I am on the Lane train if Taggart is gone.

Oregon and Lane would be a good fit as well.

Although Wilcox would be the stable pick.

He’s worth that to us if he’s gone. We become a rebuild if he leaves, we get transfers and our class falls apart.

A source at Oregon tells me that the Ducks anticipate resolution — one way or another -- in the next 24 hours on the Willie Taggart front.

You mean Strong is an Arky lock to be their next head coach?

Charlie Strong would be a bust at FSU. If they wanna win they should hire Kiffin.

And Tennessee fan does not want Kiffin? I know he ran off on Tennessee in the past. But if you are saying he is going to be good then, Tennessee should hire him the second time.

He inherited a mess. You can’t give a guy a rebuild like that and expect instant success.

He was never accepted by the boosters either. He was beneath them from the start. We’ll see if Herman gets a longer leash.

Charlie Strong is not a bad coach. He was treated like shite at Texas by boosters and admin, and inherited a team of thugs and babies. He caught shite for running players off the team for not getting on board. The media killed him for it, all because Texas money guys wanted them too.

I think Strong would do well at FSU

For whatever reason, Texas was just a bad fit. He never looked comfortable on the sidelines.

Overall career record: 62-39

Career accomplishments: 2 Time Big East Champion (2011, 2012), 2 time Big East Coach of the Year (2010, 2012)

He had a bad run at UT but that is not all his fault (See Tom Herman's record this season). Overall he is a pretty good coach with a better resume than Ed Orgeron when he was hired at LSU.
