It's a little vague at this point (as much alcohol has been consumed this evening), but as I recall I didn't feel betrayed until Archer's first year (when it was obvious he was a big step down), and then it steam-rolled as Emmitt Smith started destroying us on the football field and Spurrier came in to pretty much own the 1990's. It was like... thanks dude! Give us Archer and then get them Spurrier... (*sigh*)
