In all honesty, he’s prolly going to tear it up there and keep what kiffin had there, rolling. Taggart is a good G5 coach and honestly got fricked by FSU.

I believe I specifically said he was in over his head. But he was recruiting really well and when you do that, you eventually turn it around most of the time.

Getting Oregon to 7-5 isn’t shite. They play in the pac12 and have been it’s best team the last two decades

Forget Oregon, building wku and usf was way more impressive. Taggart is a G5 coach, good one at that. Anything more and he is in over his head.
I think it's so funny, people forget what he was able to do at two different programs. Strong took over at usf and proceeded to fail in spectacular fashion.

You know, I was all aboard the fire Taggart train, but when you go back and look, some of his losses don't look as bad in hindsight.
Lost to 12 win Boise, 9 win Virginia, 13-0 Clemson, and 10 win Florida.
Only two headscratchers are Wake, who's not too bad, and a terrible Miami team.
Maybe he needed more time, but weren't there some major coaching blunders this year, or am I remembering that wrong?

The last 3 minutes of the Wake game were horrific. I've never seen a coach take a timeout before his kicker was attempting a 50 yd fg to take the lead.
There have been hints from media about how unorganized things were behind the scene.

No you are right, he was in over his head at fsu. But he has done extremely well at mutiple spots now especially in G5. He needs to stick to that.
His first year at usf, people were calling for his head as they were beyond horrible and he had that stupid commercial with the bus talking about everyone needed to get on board. By year 3 things looked much better. Same way at wku.
He is a builder but I think FSU was just too much for him.
