The only way my wife would be at my business meeting was if she was FIRMLY opposed to the deal, and needed convincing! Otherwise, she'd say "whatever you feel is best, is fine with me."
Methinks, while Miles might be a Michigan man, Kathy ain't

If that is true then Miles will be at LSU, no way the Michigan AD would leave without having Miles signed if he was the number 1 target IMHO.
Agreed. Miles turned them down.

Would his agent come down to discuss a potential job offer? That's his job, isn't it?
This is the answer to the agent question. Do you really want Miles to leave that bad that you start twisting common knowledge things?
Come on man, my feelings wont be hurt if he leaves either....but anytime he talks to someone about a job his wife and agent will be there.

Why aren't we talking about those last 2 aspects of it more? Seems like thats alot of evidence of Les leaving moreso than staying.
Would Miles' agent really come down to meet with he and Brandon if something wasn't going down?
One of the dumbest posts I have seen all winter.
"Hey hun, why don't you stay here with the kids...I am going down to talk with the Michigan AD about a possible job that would require us to move several miles up north. Yeah, no big deal. Oh, why don't you and my agent shoot the shite for a while, I can handle this on my own."

for who Miles?? If it's not about money then why would he need to?
But hey, don't let any of that creep its way into this situation.

Dont think Miles' wife was at the meeting with Brandon. Just dinner with the agent after.

because we're busy explaining to tards that requesting that an occasional 8 or 9 win season not be seen as the end of the world is different than requesting that 8 or 9 win seasons be okay for perpetuity.
it's really taking up a lot of our time.

Miles agent is also negotiating with LSU..
Yeah, I'm going to say this isn't so.

If I'm Miles' agent, I definitely going to every meeting possible. He has to keep job security because Les is capable of making ridiculous decisions, you've seen him on the field.
Posted on 1/11/11 at 10:25 am to josh336
An agent works for a % of the contract that he or she is paid to negotiate. You are damn skippy that he or she will be sitting at any table where a potential contract is being discussed. Otherwise, why do you think Coaches have them, or pay them?
Also, Miles obviously sees his wife as a partner in his life and affairs and wants her to be there so they can make a decision as a family. That's just fair. Nothing weird in either case.

So, in your mind it would look more favorable for LSU if his agent were not there?
There is no realistic scenario in which his agent would not have been there; WTH else could they have been talking talking about? Golf?
