Just got home from work and turned on the news, WNDU is reporting officially that Brian Kelly is ND's new coach. Its why the media was all of a sudden banned from tonights cinncinatti's football banquet withen just the last 2 hours.

We'll see where this goes. I'll post if the local news comes up with more details

You hear that? It's the sound of a ball being dropped in South Bend?

Wait, wait, wait a minute. I thought Meyer was leaving UF for ND. I'm so confused.

No, Meyer will be taking the recently vacated job at Cincinnati.

Good hire by ND. Kelly is a winner.

Next season still may be ugly though, IMO

My guess is it will take 3-4 years to turn it around. And thats if he gets some of the requirements lowered.

Really? I actually think they could get to 8-9 wins in 2011. Next season may be 5-6 in a deceptively tough schedule.

The recruiting class is #12 on Rivals. Not too bad. And remember Kelly isn't used to working with as good as recruits in Cincinnati.

Remember this is the same network that reported Miles to Michigan backa couple of years ago and Tiger Woods was in serious condition last week after his "incident".
