oh English is terrible, but it seems like everyone up there has a hard on for the guy.

After the OSU loss and Rose Bowl game last year English has not been a fan favorite.

FWIW, the premium Michigan board moderator is having a meltdown saying that this leak might undermine the whole deal. He is suggesting that LSU has "upped the stakes" and given Miles an extremely short timetable to say yes or no while Michigan will not, apparently, be ready to finalize the deal till after the SECCG. He's saying the deal could fall apart. Not sure what to make of that.

I personally believe that both Les Miles and Pellini let down all of LSU both the fans and the players screwing around to get their next jobs. Their heads were not in the last games LSU played. Karma is a bitch. Hope both of them fall flat on their faces. Screw Michigan for the way it all played out. Hope they both go 0-11 for the next 5 years until they are both fired. LSU needs to put up and next a good coach that will stay around for a while, recruit well, and not leave here for the next great job. I have no problem with Les leaving. MNC don't come around often and maybe Les lost his only chance to get one!

With the tenuta thing it would appear that this deal has been on for a while. If Okeefe and the admin give miles a raise to stay they should be fired. to give a coach who has negotiated a new job before the season is over a raise is ridiculous.

Ok everyone on here has already heard that Tenuta is going to go with Miles to be the DC at Michigan. What if there is something to this reprot that Miles IS going to stay, and that the national media has got it all wrong and that Tenuta is coming to LSU to replace Bo, since it looks like that is definetly done.

I thought it was 2 yrs including 07, so whomever they don't keep, they're just buying out their 08 deals. And regardless, Michigan's got money.

It's not as expensive as you may think. If Ron English the UM DC takes a job at Michigan State, UM may not owe him anything or only the difference between his salary at UM and MSU if there is a difference.

I"m sure Herbstreit said this, but what are his sources? Is this legit?

His source is most likely Desmond Howard who's on the UM search committee.
