Embree will get the nod for CU...but, the athletic department is a train wreck right now.
McCartney pushed his agenda, got his candidate, and then spilled the beans in the article linked above...AD is PISSED BEYOND BELIEF.
Was supposed to stay quiet until Monday because they are still working to get Bieniemy in as OC. It's a long shot but a home run if they can get him into the mix. He would destroy recruiting in SoCal...in a good way for CU.

and, as predicted, here is a draft of what the AD will release:
"The rumors that the University of Colorado has hired our next head football coach are untrue. In the interests of the young men in our program, and our fans and supporters, I want to make clear that the search committee has not yet completed its work, and we have not yet offered the job to any candidate. We are hopeful of making a head coach announcement in the coming days and beginning a new and exciting era of CU football."
