That is total BS! Setting the table for a black man. What a crock of crap. I'm not racist but all this PC shite is going to destroy everything in our country. If Embree was the best for the job then why did McCartney have to "SET THE TABLE FOR A BLACK MAN" What ever happened to the simple concept of best man gets the job. That never happens in this country anymore.

Maybe I missed it, but why?

Mac believes that only someone who understands CU football can be successful at CU given the current football climate of the haves and the have nots.

CU does not have the resources or the instate talent to compete and success, in Mac's eyes, will require someone with a little CU "fire in the belly" who understands and appreciates where the program was and will do everything and anything possible to get it back there...someone who is not ok with being mediocre.

McCartney (and lots and lots of others) believe that a family hire already is better suited to lead the Buffs than "the best man for the job" from the outside.

Mac believed that before Hawkins was hired and did his best to get a family hire in then...it failed and Hawkins was hired. Mac is using that failure to fuel his fire...

BTW, it sucks that CU doesn't really follow football like LSU fans do...if they did, I could be raking in the dough on a members only site!!!
