Surprised Jones doesn't like this hire. He believes Eli Manning practically called audibles his entire career since Cutcliffe was such a piss poor play caller.

Eh, this isn't a bad hire.
He supposedly is good at developing QBs and shared playcalling duties at Duke. If he can develop Driskel, we'll be alright.

The whole staff is getting fired after next year, so this doesn't really matter. At least Roper will be able to get a year of SEC experience on his resume.
