Texas is not a better place for a DC than LSU

You're a fricking idiot if you think he's gonna come to shitty Texas. I would not go coach there after the fired a coach who they wouldn't even give 4 years.

Hundreds, if not thousands, of posts just like this were made about Herman, then Texas hired Herman. It's absolutely fascinating to see the downright delusion of many of the LSU fans on the CC board.

This is a relative statement.

He already has a contract. He hasn't signed his new one. Lawyers like to review these things and there very well could be some amendments to the one drawn up before getting signed.

As for Hermans DC at Texas I would think his DC at Houston is the leading candidate but is also up for Houston head coach.

Y'all all act like what the hell is the delay in getting an OC and why hasn't Aranda signed yet oh no ...it's been a week since we hired Orgeron...1 week! And the season hasn't even ended.

Have you thought about the pros and cons of being a DC at LSU and Texas?

This is my favorite excuse.

Sure. Have you? Have you from Aranda's point of view? How about about last week's developments? If so, you still think it's that simple?

Have you seen how contracts are handled? I used to work in contracts and they would go back and forth with exclusions and changing the wording

Yes and if you think Texas is a better option for him you are an idiot

If you did you wouldn't be laughing.

Again, it's a relative assessment. You're free to think that people are idiots for thinking that there would be pros on the Texas side. Doesn't make you right per se.

Well, I do, and I'm still laughing. Do you think there are some intense indemnification provisions negotiations going on?

I have never seen one but they sure sound more complicated than what you are suggesting...tell me what the importance of signing within a few days is anyway? He has an existing contract for the next 2 years and the new inclement doesn't take effect til 2017

Is there something about relative that's giving you trouble? I get that you're fixated on their conference offenses, and that's obviously a big issue. Can you not conceive of any pros from Aranda's point of view?

The buy out would go up. What's an inclement?

Most of the contract is boilerplate. This is not an M&A agreement.

I would seriously doubt it, buyout clauses, how much, etc could be terms that need negotiating...do you disagree?
