Does Penn State hire anyone with prior ties?

I thought they had already come out and said the new coach will have no prior ties whatsoever?

They'd be better of hiring Troy Landry from swamp people to coach that football team over a "Penn State guy."
They need to get a squeeky clean guy, that has had ZERO to do with the program. Doesn't matter if he's not a good football coach.
