Moscona was pretty adamant yesterday that Ole Miss wouldn’t let Kiffin coach the playoffs if he was taking another job.
I don’t necessarily agree with him.
FWIW, I think Kiffin is going to Florida. I believe that’s where he sees himself coaching, even if they’ve got some issues there that will have to be overcome.

Ole Miss is in no position to make any ultimatum to Kiffin. He has all the leverage in this situation, not the other way around.

That's dumb. Elko hasn't signed a new deal either. The more successful either of them are this year raises their stock.

Also, I understand the UF deal came with some strings attached. Those don't exist at LSU or Ole Miss. Not sure what the strings were at UF.

Ole Miss is and always has been at the mercy of lane. Lane will always hold the cards. They have chosen to play those games with him because they feel that it is beneficial and worth it. So they’re gonna let Lane take all the time lane needs. While continuing to offer him a blank check in the process.

I don't think anybody gives Kiffin an ultimatum at this point in his career. As for hanging Ole Miss out to dry, I don't see that either. Maybe he leaves, but if you watch the Kiffin documentary that came out this season, he is clearly more concerned with doing it the right way as compared to the young buck immature Kiffin.
I know this is not what we want to hear, but I think deep down Kiffin has a score to settle with USC and he would love for his next move to be to a team that plays USC year after year. Or the Raiders.
