Yes. He has outcoached Riley 3 years in a row and everybody was on board with Riley coming here. What's not to like?

Nah. can do better with many other options. Not really a fan of
the “one of us” hires.

Why dont you want venables

Realistically, because he's going to be at Oklahoma sooner or later.

Yes. Dave has the “it” factor and I’m all for locking down one side of the ball in an Xs and Os fashion.

No more CEO’s noted more for what they might say, therefore no Dabo. And Dabo without Venables feels too much like a recipe for disaster.

Not hiring somebody because "he's one of us" is just as bad as hiring someone because "he's one of us."

Its obvious Aranda was the best coach we've had on staff since Saban. In a division with Kiffin, Jimbo, Leach, and Alabama i think a defensive minded coach would fit nicely.

X and O maybe. It also was just as obvious he isn’t really the guy you want at the top of the program trying to land the best recruits.

I dont understand the hype for people wanting aranda.

Because he was the fricking defacto head coach from 2016 to 2019 that's why and he's a damn genius in preparation and attention to detail.

We would be in every single game.

He singlehandedly kept us in every LSU Bama game his entire tenure here not to mention saving O's arse through elite defense in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Long enough to give us 2019.

Would prefer Rhule Fickell or Kiffin but will take Aranda over what horror lies behind door No.2.
