re: Do you believe that Saban is leaving the University of Alabama?

The funny thing is it is mostly Bama fans who are matter of factly saying he is probably leaving while many LSU and even Texas fans are hesitant to believe it's likely. Why do LSU and Texas fans feign suprise that many Alabama fans think he could be leaving. Are you guys so giddy about the possibility that you're scared to jinx it or something?
The funniest thing is that many here will use a move to Texas by Saban as an indictment of the Alabama program, the fans, and Tuscaloosa as if the fact that his tenure here being 2 years longer than anywhere else he has ever been still means the Bama job sucks.
P.S. I'm a Bama fan and I'm not sure if even I wouldn't take the Texas job under the exact same circumstances. In fact, if I won 3 national titles in 4 years and wanted to coach 4 or 5 ore years before retiring I'd be tempted to have a change of scenery that was a new challenge and the school was going to pay me an absurd amount of money. The question is are other fanbases here honest enough to admit that they're coach would leave if Texas came after their coach with everything they had?

Does his wife want to live near that new grandbaby or does she want to stay in Tuscaloosa far away from that baby? That is the real question. If she wants to go, well HE GONE.

Good point but Saban could coach 3 more seasons at Alabama before that baby's 3rd birthday which are the really fun years for grandparents to be around their grand children. Babies just sleep and s### all day long for their first year anyway.

Try telling that to grandma Saban.

I'm sure grandma Saban can keep having unlimited use of the private planes she now enjoys and spend days on end seeing her grandbaby in Texas.

When he first took the Bama job, I figured he would stay the regular (for him) 5 years and then move on. When he didn't do that, I kind of believed him when he said he was too old to start over. Being an LSU fan, living through the Christmas Day debacle and then hearing the lies he told about going to Bama, I am not sure why I believed him this time. Guess I didn't want to get my hopes up. As I said in the other post, I will still believe it when I see it.
and nothing personal.... but if it happens, then I will
