was canned? the difference between us and traditional powers, is they don't wait for the football program to fail. They see a trend they don't like and clean house while everything is in relatively good shape.
maybe i am overreacting, but i don't see the future getting much better if the admin is to blind to see crowton as a failure.
I never have seen a coach do things well in a game and do the total opposite. Never. I don't understand. And he does it repeatedly.
I understand the situation with miles and the buyout. But keeping crowton is just stupid.

shite when dreaux has come over to the other side you know things are bad. Now if Bayourant and LSUmomma start downing Miles it is complete.

I was in utter disbelief with what transpired after that. They did everything imaginable to throw the game. Seriously, it makes you wonder if anything else was going on. Hint, hint

also, keeping crowton is just about the final straw.
i don't care if miles brings in petrino as passing coordinator

Danfranz will be the last of the Miles defenders.

He was 6-6 when he was canned. Might want to at least get your facts correct before beating the dead horse.

Your act is tiring. We get it...you hate Miles. You think he's a huge dumbass.
I'm not a big Miles guy either, but I just get tired of your remarks. You bring nothing of quality or substance to this board other than your Miles bashing. I think the rest of us here get that you're not a Miles fan..

Not really. He lost to Auburn 5 straight years. To the average team losing that 1 game might not be that important but to Bama and their boosters losing to Auburn 5 straight seasons was worse than finding out you have cancer in your testicles.
He got canned for those 5 losses.

maybe miles see's something we don't.
I had another thread about mccarthy and showing how the recieving core is alot to blame for poor offense.
I got bashed saying it was all crowton and stud.
People forget JL throwing all those picks. THe difference between that a jefferson is jefferson doesn't throw it when the recievers are not open or run bad routes. He doesn throw it when they are not open. But more often then not he holds on to the ball far longer then he is supposed to, because or recievers running bad routes and not getting open.
The screen is non exsistent, or ran so poorly it is almost a loss every time. no pass game equals no run game. Only come back routes to the outside. Almost nothing over the middle with reciever's in stride. And piss poor hitch and go's.

Shula was 26-23 in 4 seasons at Bama. His 10 win was the anamoly, not the norm:
W/L Conf.
4–9 2–6
6–6 3–5
10-2 6-2
6-6 2-6
Basically he was hired to bring the program back, and besides that one year, he failed miserably.

Don't sell yourself short. You fail miserably in virtually every thread you start.

Well, Shula didn't inherit the most talented team in the country and he still managed to win 10 games like Miles.

No shite. 24 months of doing this every single day from now until Les is likely gone has to get old even for this a-hole.

Alabama under Shula went:
4-9
6-6
10-2
6-6 again
He had to deal with Sanctions and loss of scholarships as well.
Miles may not be unbelievable but he hasn't performed anywhere near as poorly as Shula.
