Did something happen with Tommy Moffitt?

I have been seeing a lot of people say not just that he won’t be retained but that they don’t WANT him to be retained.
Did I miss something? Moffitt is one of the best in the business, is he not?
I understand letting Kelly do his thing, but is there a reason people are saying that moffitt sucks now?

Think people have gripes with 1. Injuries and 2. Out of shape olinemen

He’s not good anymore

He was, did you see the OL in the beginning of the season? They weren't ready. Granted, we can easily blame that on O, but it's about time to make a change anyway.

Honestly I dont know if it is the players or Moffitt but I am tired of a soft O line

When’s the last time we imposed our will on an opponent? Do our linemen look like they’re in shape? How bout the insane amount of injuries over the last two years?

Yeah… he was once considered the best, but times have changed and there’s a lot of innovative SC programs out there these days

Because he sucks now, its that simple

I am not a Moffit hater but would like for some new blood and thought into the s&c program

No doubt - fat slobs that are out of shape

I’m with you… besides Raymond, I want a nothing but new faces

He is one of the best. Idiots on here don’t know anything about S&C so they try to bash him.

I suspected for a while that O wasn't really "enforcing" the S&C program. Just kind of an on your own deals.

I don't know if it's Moffitt himself, or if it was his boss being more lax, but the S&C has definitely fallen off.
Particularly on the lines, the guys just look slow and lethargic, and haven't held their own like they always did under Miles. There has definitely been a big drop-off these past few years.
Like I said though, is that actually Moffit, or was it O not demanding the same standards as before? I don't know, but the buck stops with Tommy.
I had hoped Viloria would really have helped bigtime with the S&C, but that hasn't really panned out either. It may be about individual motivation. That's something BK will have to get figured out pretty quickly.
