It's becoming very clear that Miles was visiting Del Boca Vista the other day.

Check out the Aggie board. The last several pages of their coaching changes thread is nothing but them discussing LSU's DC search. They're so desperate for LSU to make a poor hire so they can claim this as a win over LSU since their team can't get it done on the field.

Ryan Clark as GA.

This would be awesome ... hire LeBeau, groom Clark for the position long term.

If you look real closely, you might be able to read between the lines...

quote:

“It happens,” said LeBeau, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame who spent 56 years in the league as a player and coach “It’s like I’m starting brand new. In this business you can end up in that position.” LeBeau said "I’m not retiring,” LeBeau said. “Geaux Tigers.” Lebeau then said "I'm 90% sure I won't die before I get there."

I said it jokingly but he said one time he wanted to be a coach.

Do people ACTUALLY think we are getting Lebeau? Or is everyone just messing around?

Would one of the best DCs in the history of the game come down to college ball? He could take any job he wanted, why LSU?

The question should be, "Why not LSU?"

Pittsburg is cold. Baton Rouge is warm.

Old people like to fish. Where better than south Louisiana?

I'd be as happy as anyone, but it just seems like a pipe dream...

We would have the best staff in the history of college football if we bring him and Bebe in. Doesnt matter that Lebeau is too old to recruit if we have coach O

Does anybody know how much he was making at Pitt? Alleva/Les may want to pay the $1.7 mil per year that they didn't want to pay Chavis...just to rub it in!!

Unofficially, according to this link, he was making $1.0 mil

Huge, long time Steeler fan here, and I know a couple of mostly useless tidbits about LeBeau.

He comes from very long-lived people. 77 is about like 60 in his family.

Dude is still an excellent golfer at Oakmont CC, one of the toughest tracks in the world. He is not exactly ready for a nursing home.

Having said this, I will still be surprised if it happens.
