Would not mind him for DC at all. Lots of SEC experience and that Auburn defense pretty much held everyone in check except Mississippi State and Georgia last year. That includes us, Arkansas and Alabama.

Oddly enough I thought about it earlier today and how it was that he wasn’t talked about more to fill our DC role. He’s a damn good coach.

Everyone’s defense looked good (except Fla) against our offense, especially late (except A&M). Auburns defense was stingy but gave it up late in games as well. Notice the record. Conspicuously the same as ours. We are in an upgrade trend. I’m sure he’s a good coach but…..IMO there are others better.

Auburn is a dumpster fire. Their head coach has one or two more years max. He tried getting the Oregon job.

That's how it goes when the defense is good but the offense is shitty. Mason is one of the highest paid DCs in the country for a reason. He's a hell of a coach. Now, I'm glad LSU isn't looking to hire him.
