That’s why he received an extension. Heard this on the radio. 103.7 the offer was 2+ million a year and was going to make him the highest paid OC. After talking with his family he decided to sign an extension with LSU. SIAP

Hell, I would too. Is selling your soul to a cult worth it?

College Station sucks in comparison to BR. And that's saying something.

Receivers grow on trees here. Why would he move his family there for less opportunity

Not only that, having been here two years, this thing should hum like a well oiled machine for another season or two at least based off of the work they've been putting in.

Ask Collin Klein. A&M overpaid for a 3rd year OC

It’s the second time they’ve tried and failed to hire an LSU coordinator. Remember when they tried to get Aranda after the 17 season?

Did they get Mr. Coach Klein? I missed that.

Oh yeah they did come after Aranda afer firing Chavis who they took from us 2 years before. We were happy to see 3rd and Chavis go. What is their deal with us?

I’m not sure you can say they even “took” Chavis. He didn’t leave because of any issues with Miles or coaching here. He was leaving no matter what after the way Alleva handled his contract extension. A&M just happened to be the offer on the table when it blew up right before the Music City Bowl.

Probably a blessing in disguise based on his downward trending performance at LSU and his mediocre showings at A&M and Arkansas. It was just handled very poorly by a terrible AD.

This.

He’s been a really pleasant surprise of the CBK era. Really incredible job he did developing JD. Sloan has been awesome as well. I just think back to the dark days of watching qbs under Les miles….this has been night and day.

He could be looking to replace Kelly in a couple of years.

A&M is like that little step brother that just won’t leave you the frick alone. frick that school. LSU is a place where championships can be won. A&M is such a fraud.
