Look it up O fans. I'm assuming most O fans don't have college degrees so I'll break it down for you. You don't fire a coach then promote that coaches DLINE coach to HC. That's guaranteed failure

Why is it a guaranteed failure?

In fairness, Coach O isn't a guaranteed failure, but he seems like the coach most likely to fail and least likely to succeed at a major level.

I want the next LSU head coach to win, bigly, but I think Herman or Fisher are more likely to be the man to lead this program forward.

I don't want O to get the job, but it wouldn't exactly be "insane" if he did.

It would absolutely be insane. You fire your coach 4 games into the season giving you a leg up on any other school in the market and you end up hiring the dline coach? Come on, man. That is fricking madness.

It'd be stupid and disappointing but not insane. I mean looking at the context, there are some things to like about O.

O is not a guaranteed failure if he's hired, but he's done nothing to show he can do any better than Les did the last few years.

We fired Les to win more, right?

I do not want O to be the next head coach. Not because he would be a failure but because I don't believe he is a national championship caliber coach. I think he would keep the talent level up and win 8-10 games a year.

That's not bad at all but LSU is a better program than that.

you are insane man. you assume most O fans don't have college degrees. my definition of insanity includes that; making ridiculous assumptions and crowing about them publicly. and then there's the guaranteed failure comment.

you need professional help.
