This. He didn't say he didn't like it. He was asked least favorite part of the job and I believe he said being out on the road recruiting because he'd rather be with family or in the film room with his players. (something like that). He had to pick something he liked least.
I don't think he's an elite recruiter like a Riley or Saban or whatever. But he's a good recruiter and VERY good at recruiting players to fit his system that he knows he can develop into studs. That's almost more valuable. It's like the Wisconsin model, but with better Louisiana athletes.

Haven’t seen him in person but he averaged more yards per catch (32) than anyone in the area.
