Who knows if I was making Jones do D formations that would not fit our personal, that is the million dollar question, was O meddling? I could see that. We really don't know how good OC or DC are ?

Next week, when he is getting abused by Briles, I promise I'll bump this for you to reflect on

At this point I've seen enough. While he's not at the level where I'd be mad if the new coach doesn't keep him, I wouldn't be mad if he does either. This scheme fits the personnel really well, and this is without a lot of the best defensive players playing.

I wouldn't rule him out as a safeties coach with the potential to grow into a DC on LSU's next staff, but I seriously doubt he will be retained. Will most likely return to the NFL.

Given the product Jones has put on the field in the last 6 quarters, if we bing in an offensive minded HC, I wouldn’t be pissed if they kept Jones

I don’t trust a coach who suddenly decides to do his job in one game after coasting through the previous ones.

That’s the thing, the way this defense turned it around reeks of O bowing out and allowing Jones to run things the way he wants. Think about the blitz packages alone. You know that shite had to be in the defensive playbook, but was never called. Now, all the sudden we become more blitz heavy?

I think Jones is putting together a pretty good audition to be a DC somewhere next season.
