Sources: USC is finalizing a deal to hire UCLA defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn. UCLA finished No. 11 in total defense in his first year there this season, an improvement from No. 89 the year before.

Even though it’s a small sample size, what he did with UCLA was impressive. Could work out well for USC.

This is what happen when you drag your feet. All the good candidates are gone.

House should have been fired within a month and a half into the season

Agreed, my big issue with being nice and not firing his worthless arse was losing out on good options

It’s one guy and one that was really a message board pipe dream. I doubt we were going to the west coast for our dc.

Still like seeing us get the best and not settling. The danger of waiting too long to move is missing out on the best options. This week would be idle for a move.

The best is probably Minter. With Michigan winning last week, he’s now tied up until almost mid-January, and that’s assuming Harbaugh does leave and there’s upheaval there that would get him looking around.

We are going to be waiting a while, no matter what.

That’s a long time to wait with early signing period and all the other moves that will go down before it.

Then it also puts you behind the 8 ball on hiring the rest of the d staff which we desperately need.

It’s a roll of a dice if his agent could get something done back room, that would change things.

Almost think you have to move to the next option as a play off dc isn’t likely to leave his spot for same position at another school.

If you don't occasionally melt down over some irrational shite, you're not an LSU fan.
