Recruits well locally. Offensive minded. Utilizes talent. Brings a diverse team together around a common goal. Can handle an insane fanbase. Great motivator.

As a coach I think he would do well at LSU. But he has some personal demons that I think would be his undoing at a bigger school

Maybe so. That move helped him both to discipline his team and promote his program positively.
There are definitely demons in his past but I don't think he is Sarkisian 2.0 ... He drinks and womanizes as much if not less than Bradley Dale.

Obviously not Louisiana. Recruits the Virginias well and also Florida. Has a knack for pulling in top JuCo transfers as well.

Dana has an awesome wooden home in West Virginia . I don't think he would leave that sanctuary up there to fight in the SEC West.

I think that is a by product of being at wvu. its not a recruiting power house.
