If you don't get Herman or Fisher and are against keeping O. I believe Mullen could be a good 4th choice. I've been impressed with what the guy has done at State. I'd look at him before I would Fedore but just my opinion.

Fedora is a much better coach than Mullen.

When are we going to get over the Dan Mullen mystique?

I don't want to, but I will if you really want me to... I can name 20 coaches right now THAT LSU COULD GET that I'd want over Mullen

Furthermore, I think Jimbo is the most qualified. I would be satisfied with Jimbo. What does he do well?: great recruiter, good, solid offensive mind, QB coach which is a big one, pretty sure he knows LSU's recruiting landscape etc......

Nothing wrong with your opinion but most just disagree.

Not a fan of his lack of balance or his demeanor really. Just seems meh.

Even his best most senior team with a great qb absolutely crashed late in the season.

Not sure where ur going with that one bro, I'm a die hard tiger fan. I just said I felt like the guy was a good coach. Would rather Jimbo but I wouldn't put Fedora ahead of Mullen, no way.

I'd rather have Orgeron, Fleck, Aranda, Fedora, Gundy or half the other silly names that get thrown around on here than take Mullen.

I just don't get the Dan Mullen love. I don't think he's as bad as some say, but compared to other candidates we could possibly hire, his resume just doesn't stand out.

I understand he's at MSU, but that was his choice. He should have held out for a better job. MSU is head coach purgatory when bigger jobs come open.
