Nutts lawyer ask for rest of phone records, OM claims disturbing patern with Freeze after reviewing call logs and settles with Nutt. Freeze is immediatly fired and walks away from buyout.
It is about criminal conduct up to and possibly including providing prostitutes for minors, not NCAA issues.
No competent AD would ever allow him to be hired, well on second thought you guys may hire him

There was nothing about the escort service calls that linked it to recruits.
I'm guessing as a Miss St. fan this is from your biased sources that have an agenda against Ole Miss. Understandable, but not useful in a situation without a deep Ole Miss hate.

He was getting a handful of guys that were highly ranked, yes. He won't have to do that at LSU, now will he? Louisiana has a great amount of in-state talent.

I’m all for Freeze if he really doesn’t have any baggage that’ll affect LSU. I’d be ecstatic. That’s a home run hire.

Point out any inaccuracy you wish.
Also please provide your version of events if you believe mine are incorrect as well as why you believe he was fired and agreed to walk away from the multi million dollar buyout.

Is there an open investigation in to Freeze? I thought judgement had been made and passed. If there's no further investigation and he is allowed to coach, what is the issue?

The only issue is OM settled with Nutt and he dropped the FOI request for the phone records, they are still out there and would hang like the sword of Damocles over anyone who hired him.
Whatever is in them made OM blush bad enough to fire Freeze on the spot and pony up millions to Nutt, it can't be good.
Do you think any school wants leaks refering to prostitutes by their OC? much less IF it involved recruits. I can't even begin to imagine the negative recruiting this would bring down on him.
He is a great offensive mind that has made himself too toxic to touch regardless of what some seem to think.

I guess it would be up to the school's administration to find out what is in the phone records and determine if it's truly damaging or just embarassing.
I have a hard time believing it involved recruits and no one has caught wind of that yet. This feels like more of an embarrassment issue than anything.

Yes but that would involve either OM releasing them or a FOI suit which makes them all go public.

I have used possibly and if to describe this because I have no clue, I also have no idea why a man would be calling hookers in a city 800 miles away, just strange.
Way too much unknown floating around for me to take a chance on him were I an AD, just not worth it.

The whole deal is just odd, again I have no special knowledge of this there is just too much going on for me to hire him were I an AD.
If you hire him you with his baggage you hitch your wagon to him, way too much both known and unknown out there.

It's a definite risk, but can anyone get those records? Let's say LSU hires him. Can Miss. State just go request the phone records and make it all public? I don't know how the FOI works. Just wondering if anyone has the ability to get the records why haven't they?
