McCarthy is simply the symptom. Nothing changes until Jerry gives up as gm.

As a Cowboys fan I can’t wait to lose to the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC divisional round next year, while Dak throws 3 interceptions.

As someone who hates the Cowgirls, I can’t wait for another Dallas debacle where McCarthy and Dak stay for yet another year under a psychotic Jerry Jones ownership.

Nobody wants to work for Jerry. He is the problem. McCarthy is a better option than anyone they can hire right now. I would bet Dallas sent some feelers out to candidates.

There is no fool like an old fool! He is single handedly the demise of a once great organization and sure appears to care only about the ridiculous amount of revenue they pull in, and nothing about ever returning to greatness on the field

He and Payton are very similar in that regard.

Agreed. Didn't Roger's have one of/if not the best statistical season for a QB in 2011? Brees did too for that matter and neither came away with the Lombardi for a few different reasons, but their head coaching left a lot to be desired in the playoffs.

They need some devin white type LBs or teams will keep running the ball.
The defense is the weak link.

This just isn't true. Jerry wants nothing more than another championship. He has all the money in the world. His problem is he doesn't allow his staff to make football decisions without his input. He's a great owner that loves his team but a bad GM. I hope he gets another championship before dying but I think we'll have to wait for his son to take control before it happens.

Jerry is too prideful to give up being GM. He is still trying to prove to the world it was him that made the 90's Cowboys and got 3 superbowls and not the coach.
