I got a bad feeling about this. Players are already asking for it.

The one good thing is more money for staff if we can get him on the cheap.

Hasn’t he the HC at FIU? I know it’s FIU but that didn’t go very well, did it? Meanwhile Lane Train killing it at FAU.

lane fricking kiffin.

it's the only right choice for uo if they wanna do anything. taggart was gonna take you as far as he could out recruit the pac12. that's it.

if you take the magic pill and board the lane train, this will all be a blessing in disguise.

Surely Oregon can and will do better than that. Kiffin, Leach, and Gundy would be great at Oregon. I don’t Taggart was ever going to bring Oregon back to where they once were. Especially with Kelly back in the PAC.

He actually built the program up and the AD regretted firing him so fast for a bad season after back to back bowl game seasons. Ron Turner was the one who set them back a few years.

Cristobal is a pretty buttoned up person. He is very detailed and the players respond well to him. However, I am in on the Lane Train.

In the grand scheme of things, Lane makes 1 MM to coach a child’s game in Miami. It will take something special to pull him away. Mark Richt will retire soon, and he will get looks there.

Absolutely, it worked out great for LSU. Look at Coach Eaux. Tennessee should hire Hoke without further hesitation also.

I sure hope so.

This situation is to be expected with interim head coaches though. They're the interim, the players love him, and the AD feels pressure from the internal community to hire him.

Don't. The man proved to be a pretty good coach in the past and his ability to recruit is widely known.

Truth be told, Cristobal was my #1 target for the most recent Rutgers search. The AD picked Chris Ash, which I still think was a massive mistake.

The players asking for it line is such bullshite. When have players ever not asked for that. Only a spineless AD like Alleva gives into the noise like that

He'll leave. Back to square 1.

Wilcox is still unproven but I like the idea of Greatwood and Baldwin coming with him. Wilcox will never leave unless he's fired.

He's a proven DC so I'm comfortable with that side of the ball.

Can't coach in the PAC 12 if you cannot recruit California,,,,

Gonna get harder with Chip Kelly in Cali along with the Alabama reputation of the west in USC..

Think its why ASU went for a name guy like Herm Edwards....he'll be great in a living room...

Oregon will make a good hire...great atmosphere and great facility with a huge following up there...

Germ Edwards will not be good in the living room. He will scare the parents. That dude is weird as shite.

His defenses have been torched before in the PAC 12. If Oregon is going to go with a defensive guy, why not just promote Jim Leavitt? Leavitt just wants a HC gig, he won't leave. Plus he has recruiting connections in FL and you guys keep a lot of the staff (except Cristobal)
