People think Briles could win at LSU. Briles and Leach are pretty much the same guy when it comes to Football strategy.

Not all spread offenses are the same strategy. Briles actually runs the ball.

would def be more fun to watch..I think he gets out of Washington state really quick now that Peterson is at Washington.. Kentucky or Vanderbilt would be very smart to hire a guy like him.. he is use to working with bottom of the barrel type programs and having above avg success and will be competitive.. all you can ask for at those schools.. he would be one of my first calls if Im the AD at one of those two schools..

Wrong. SEC defenses get shredded all the time vs spread teams. As long as you have a good system and the talent (especially at QB), a spread offense can score enough on any defense.

Leach has made more of an effort to run the ball since he called out his team for being soft

Last few games especially

I dont think Leach ever had top QB talent, many of his teams as a whole have been bottom rated recruits.

Yet they are in the top of categories like passing, passing efficiency etc
Hence id love to see what he could do with 4-5 star players

It's not like he can't run, well at least not at Texas Tech, it's that he chooses not to run. The running backs Kentucky has right now would be great for his system if he would allow his team to be more balanced.

If he would run the ball and stop being a moron yes.

But he is too arrogant and gets in his own way most of the time.

Another setback is he ran out of UK last time he was there, so not sure he wants to be there again.

Would love to see that. He still has many ties to Texas and could pull some talent

You're right. The spread is so ineffective in the SEC that most of the conference runs it
