Well, the current guy announced coming to staff isn't exactly appealing. I sure as hell hope he's not the DB coach to replace Raymond.

I think most people would agree that the coordinator will be more impactful on the defense than any 1 position coach

Cooper laid the foundation for DBU. But Raymond certainly maintained it well. Raymond is an elite recruiter and DB coach. He has always done well landing talented Florida kids, and now he'll work to keep them in state with the Gators. Definitely a blow to our Florida recruiting, but we will survive.
The state of Florida with new staffs at UF and UM is going to be really interesting for recruiting over the next few cycles.

That is the biggest issue.
I guess we're back to focusing on TX instead.
REALLY wanted that Wilson/Raymond/Davis trio for recruiting though. Losing Joseph and Raymond leaves a dent even with Wilson on board. Kelly needs recruiters badly still.

You know the common denominator in both coaches ? They both had really talented balls of clay to mold. What Corey brought to the table is just not irreplaceable

Frank is a legit RC with organizational skills and ability to run the board, Raymond was an RC for salary purposes
