This. People get complacent and think they’re not being appreciated, which affects their work. Sometimes it takes something like this happening to make them realize they weren’t putting in 100% and they come back with a newfound dedication. If that happens, Raymond at peak form is as good as anybody.

While I think we could’ve done better, I love it!! Hopefully he can find his mojo back to being a great db coach

2021 - 28 SEC, 70 nationally
2020 - 6 SEC, 14 nationally
2019 - 7 SEC, 13 nationally
2018 - 19 SEC, 52 nationally
2017 - 32 SEC, 76 nationally
2016 - 5 SEC, 87 nationally
2015 - 37 SEC, 81 nationally
2014 - 5 SEC, 6 nationally
2013 - 27 SEC, 58 nationally
Only 1 of those yrs, 2020, was he the highest rated recruiter on LSU's staff

Derrick Stingley
Cordale Flott
Jay Ward
..didn't include JBC because he transferred in after Raymond left or Kelvin Joseph and Eli Ricks (who would have been a top 2RD pick if he had stayed).

Ok.
Just a fact. Corey + Frank + Baker + Kelly will be a great recruiting tandem. Let's knock DL coach out of the park.
Much more worried about development and Corey holding us hostage every offseeason, although maybe since he's left and come back that will stop.
