2010 was the year he woulda been fired for his 3rd straight zook like year had UNC receiver not dropped the winning TD in atlanta. i was there. Also JJ looked like shite and Lee bailed his arse out continuously that year. 4th and 16 against UT? The game wining drive against UF? miles easily could have had 5 losses. all we did was delay the inevitable with that man. I laid out for years what was wrong with his performances. All anybody could do was look at just overall W's and L's because they know nothing about performance and X's and O's. It's quite laughable. The chickens have come home to roost.

Les in his entire tenure here has not picked one QB out of HS and successfully developed him to be worth a shite. That isn't just poor luck

people are so pessimistic
I'm actually very optimistic. I've always been a "posi-tiger".
But I enjoy facts and logic. The stat I posted about where our offense has ranked the last 7 years is a fact. It doesn't get much more clear than that.
When you post things like " maybe this is when Les opens it up", it's borderline delusion, because there is absolutely zero evidence to suggest that, and MOUNDS of evidence contrary.

Les has proven he will make a change when things go really bad.

Les is at fault for not having a QB that has stayed to take over. Alabama has benefitted from this, when was the last time a sophomore started for them? McCarron was a junior correct? Same with McElroy?
Love how you use these excuses for alabama, but then say 2012 was "a first year guy" for Lsu. Nevermind he was a 4th year junior.

This season may be the kick in the face Les needs in order to open up the offense
Too little, too late.
I really like Les Miles. It's not fun for me to see the guy get dragged through the mud like this, but I don't feel that he can win at a high level for LSU anymore.
If Miles somehow came back (25% or less) than I'm sure he would change his offense... but why does it take almost getting fired for him to change something that was causing 3+ losses a year since 2012, anyway?

I was at the unc game too. It was a weird atmosphere after the game. Lsu fans seemed pretty down as unc had most of their good players suspended that game.

Eventually he will, I can either choose to believe next year it will happen or just fall into the line of thinking it will never happen.
Yes I'm still referring to Les being back next year until the position actually opens up.

He hasn't on offense. He's changed the guy with the headset several times, but its overall been the same results.

And 4 offensive coordinators has proven is doesn't matter.

On offense? When? Changing offensive coordinators to bring in a new guy, but still running the offense the same as before is not change.

2nd year LSU guy, hell his first year starting wasn't even bad, LSU won 10 games. Although 10 games is a gimme at LSU according to all now.

I'm out

Crowton and Cam both brought new wrinkles. Les just hasn't let go of the power football he grew up with and had success with at LSU. One day he will let go more.

No one is saying its a give me, but 10 wins certainly isn't the milestone it once was. We basically buy half of that total with the body bag games.

Yeah Cam was such a positive change.. if anyone has ever been a puppet for Miles, it is Cam.

Some aren't, this was a nice thread for awhile with discussion. Now it has turned into a rant thread where instead of making an argument you just attack each other.
I think there is a lot of irrational post and people are coming out of the woodwork just to say, "I told you so" about Les.
