Out of those guys, I guess I like Phil Bennett and Chan Gailey the best (if we are even considering any of these guys). Bennett might be a good choice for DC, if he doesn't get any nibbles elsewhere (and Pelini leaves for Nebraska, or goes with Miles to Michigan - though how, I don't know, with him being a Buckeye and all).
Obviously Guy Morriss would be a great pickup for OC, should Crowton follow Miles to Michigan. I don't know if Morriss wants to wait for a smaller Texas school HC job to open up, but maybe he would come over for a couple of seasons.

I've talked with Phil, he still loves LSU. He has had offers for other jobs in college and Pros. Phil looks to be taking this next year off and will get paid by SMU. This is a good move by Phil. A great guy and Coach. He was in town a couple months ago.

He will be coaching again after one year, don't know if it will be in College or Pro's, hes had offers from both.
