Mee-shegan will go after Harbaugh.
Apparently Michigan sees him as a turn coat.

One of the Buckeyes facing Michigan on Saturday will be offensive lineman Justin Boren, a former Wolverine who transferred to Ohio State shortly after Rodriguez arrived.
Boren, the son of the former Wolverine player Mike Boren, said in an e-mail message to reporters at the time: “Michigan football was a family built on mutual respect and support. Those family values have eroded.” Boren was unavailable for interviews this week.
At Michigan, Martin and Mary Sue Coleman, the university’s president, did not respond to requests for comment about the issues surrounding the program.
“I don’t think it’s very appropriate to talk now, because of the N.C.A.A.,” said Olivia P. Maynard, one of Michigan’s eight-member Board of Regents, who was reached by telephone.
“Think of it from the university’s perspective. There’s all kinds of stuff going on. It doesn’t help to have a thousand voices speaking at the same time.”

see this is what a lot of LSU fans don't understand
UM football is more than its record
this mentality comes from not being as good as Ohio State in football, but being an elite academic institution
UM football is about respect, being nice, not being flashy, having good students, blah blah blah
that's where the whole "Michigan man" shite comes from
Rich Rod is NOT a Michigan man. while i do think a guy like Rich Rod is necessary to make UM competitive with OSU again, it's NOT what their fans want. hell, les may be too firey for UM football

All good points. I believe RR can survive a 5-7 record this year, but the NCAA investigation is a complete embarassment to the university. Further, many see this not working out long term w/ RR. Not submitting the practice logs is considered a major violation. There happens to be a major violation clause in RR's contract that would allow UM to dismiss him w/ cause and not pay any buyout. If they pass up this opportunity it may not be there next year.
So, I think he is done. Too much convergence of coincedence for it not to happen.
Now, my guess is LM is UM's second or third choice but is definitely on their board. If BK goes to ND, probably comes down to LM and Harbaugh.
If the powers that be at LSU see this as a possibility they should contact Harbaugh and encourage him to apply for LM's vacant position at LSU rather than taking the UM gig.

yeah that is something you simply cannot do at UM

Cruising UM board leads me to believe BK and Harbaugh are the first chioces.
There have been some contentious issues between Harbaugh and UM and some believe he will not be offered. But others consider him #1 choice. But, Harbaugh played under Moeller right? Don't think he was there under Bo.
They may want a guy to played for Bo.
But, lots of Brian Kelly talk. Of course he is the hot coach du jour right now.
