All this speculation is going to make the whole thing blow up. It's obviously in play and getting close but the leaking could ruin it.

I'm sure Texas wants Saban. Who doesn't? But Saban don't want Texas.
"We're going to retire here" Terry Saban about a month ago. Coaches may talk BS but I seriously doubt he's going to ask his wife to lie about it.

just moving back to Tuscaloosa from Austin after he retires so he can visit his statue every week

She insisted up until the last moment how much they loved Baton Rouge and intended to stay there - right up until he got on the plane to Miami - there are other factors that drive Nicholas Lou Saban - and they don't even have to move school-age children this time.

Can you retire in a city that you do not work in?

Now there is a thought Imagine Nick coaching at Texas, keeps his mansion is Tuscy, uses it for a retirment or vacation home while WHO WOULD BE COACHING the gumps if Nick left?
