Coaching changes and recruiting boards

Am I the only person that goes to these boards expecting a message from above to be sent via the interweb . Great oc and dc hired as well as 10 five star recruits signed ? I am retired and can only hunt and fish so much . I go to Tiger droppings 20 times a day .

I’m sure recruits and current players would like to know as well.. as far as recruiting we are behind. We need over 15 to reach 32.

Yeah but don’t you kinda miss the anticipation of getting Tiger Rag the week after signing day to see who signed with LSU?

We aren’t behind at all. I would argue 12-15 in the early period is ideal.
Sign 7-10 in the late period and 7-10 in the portal gets you where you need to be.
LSU had 13 early, and already 1 in the portal.
We actually need 18 to get to 32, which is OK.
There is a lot of talent already in the portal, and more to come.
I won’t be surprised to see them save 3-5 for the post-spring practice transfer wave.

No because I used to call in to the signing day hot line and have some student worker in the athletic department read off the signees.

Did we sign a ton of players? No. But what we did sign was the foundation of what could be an amazing team.
