quote:

"I'm excited about Coach Sapp," Coach Prime said on his "Buffaloes Primetime Radio Show." "He's a dear friend that I love to life, and he's going to be invaluable as to what he brings to the table.

"The kids are going to love him; as far as the recruits, they are going to love him."

Sanders has yet to specify the potential role that Sapp is going to fill, and it's unclear if Sapp already is qualified to be a full-time, on-field assistant coach -- should Sanders have an opening on the defensive side of the ball.

I don't think it's wise to add friends to your staff. This is not going well at Colorado.

Colorado is a joke. Just as I suspected this is turning into a train wreck you can't look away from.

There are a lot of LSU fans that think any and all former Tigers who became great NFL players need to be immediately on LSUs on field coaching staff. Deion’s bubble is bursting and he’s gotta do something to stay afloat.

The last decommits Deion has had has him upset. Seriously. Read his comments. NIL nullifies Deion's celebrity/cultural icon status.

It’s wise if your goal is to enrich your friend rather than win football games where are all of the idiots who thought POS grifter “Prime” was the shite because he beat Colorado State in OT?

And has no coaching experience. Baffling other than Prime is all about glitter.

He’s a fricking defensive line coach. He’s not scheming a defense. You teach technique, go through drills, motivate and recruit. Most former players know the first 2, and he seems to have the personality to recruit. You just don’t want them scheming a defense.

Is what you are saying is that former players should never become DC's?
That a person who had not played should be hired in that role?
Why?

It's going as well or better than it has for most of almost two decades. Much better than last season

Is he?

I don't see where he's ever coached, for even a minute.

Im not saying that because so many factors go into it. Some of the best defensive coordinators in the NFL currently were former players. But at the same time, just because you were more athletic than someone else doesn’t mean that will make you a better coach. I’ll just say that.

Y’all act like he is being asked to go out there and perform brain surgery.

His job will be to recruit the best defensive lineman in the country and to teach them proper technique and motivate them. Combo of that along with proper strength and coordination is all you are looking for.

How do you know what his job will be? His position on the staff hasn't even been announced, and whether he will be an analyst of a on-field coach.

And he's never coached or recruited another human being in his life.
