You've got to hand the man at least two things: 1) he's a heck of a recruiter, 2) the Machiavellian way he staged this coup was masterful.

Before he was even hired as DL coach, he engendered himself to local radio hosts to start being his PR arm. That carried through to his subsequent coup against Miles and his ability to parry away folks with better resumes.

Ostensibly, he sold his plan over his resume. What about when that plan doesn't come to fruition. What if he is unable to retain Aranda and unable to sway Kiffin from UA?
