I think this is a fantastic hire. And, he may get some of those big corn-fed boys to come on down and beef up the OL.
Some say 2-3 years...I say LSU will be impactful next season.

Yeah. This is a white whale. There is no ambiguity about it. This is bigger than Riley.
My daughter goes to OU, and I went to LSU. I did not want Riley at LSU. Multiple posts prove it. I thought Riley was fool's gold. His defenses were always soft and if he didn't have an Uber talented QB with Heisman potential, his offense would sputter. Everyone here knew OU was soft.
I never thought Kelly would leave ND. I thought he'd be there until he retired. The only question I have about the hire is, "how much fire is in his belly?"
He's 60 and not many head coaches out there coach past 65. The game can pass them by, except for Saban. If he has the desire like Saban has, though, the next five years are going to be delicious when these two teams meet. This could be the greatest coaching hire since Alabama hired Saban.

Home run hire! I am excited to see what he can do given the lack of recruiting limitations. He has been a winner everywhere he has been. If Les and O can win a championship, Kelly can win at least 2. Now he needs to recruit like a madman because December 15th is just 2 weeks away.

Fantastic. I can't wait for the spring game. BK was in my top 3 from the beginning. Much better than Lane and some of the others mentioned here. Won everywhere he has been. Will do wonders here. Great job Scott.

Was not a coach I wanted, but I'll ride the train of coach Kelley. Seems be a solid hire compared to shrimp boat captain
